Upper - Pinatex (Pineapple Leaf Fibre) with Handcrafted Line Art Embroidery using the Aari Stitch method Lining and Insole - Faux Leather (PU) Foam for support and comfort Sole - Upcycled Rubber Tyres Heel- Block Heel of 1.5 inches made out of wood in a Dark Polish Hand-stitched from Outsole to Insole in a white thread using traditional age old methods of shoe making for additional rawness and durability.

Sole Stories is the brainchild of mother-daughter duo Farida & Afshan Virani. While Afshan takes pleasure in the design process of the label, Farida looks after the business aspect. Afshan’s journey as a shoe designer began way before the label was founded in 2018, as she believed that she needed to follow her true calling which happened to be designing shoes for a living.

It represents conscious and thoughtfully designed accessory pieces that are ethically made using sustainable vegan alternatives like pineapple leaf fibres and upcycled rubber tyres amongst others.
