This is a classic wrap silhouette dress made in pure silk fabric handwoven in Banaras. It has striped details all over in the weave. It’s an overlap dress with deep v neck and basic sleeves with a cuff. It has intricately handcrafted applique and hand embroidery all over the dress in abstract motifs. This collection is an assorted range of textiles & handspun fabrics sourced from Banaras, Islampur, Murshidabad & quaint villages of India. The inspiration for the embellishments & embroideries has been derived from the artist Huguette Caland and her work over the years. Intricate crafts like sujani & kantha are the key embroidery techniques been used.
