Have you ever experienced feelings of hopelessness or considered suicide?

Suicidal thoughts are more common than we might think. They often stem from emotional pain, despair, and a sense of helplessness. It is essential to separate the thoughts with empathy.

Suicidal thoughts are only experienced by people with mental illnesses?

Suicidal thoughts can be experienced by individuals with and without mental illnesses. While it's true that mental health conditions can increase the likelihood of experiencing such thoughts but Various other factors like life stressors, relationship difficulties, financial hardships, and personal struggles, can contribute to the emergence of suicidal thoughts. It's important to recognize that suicidal thoughts can affect anyone, and seeking help and support is essential regardless of whether someone has a mental health diagnosis. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, it's crucial to reach out for assistance.

We often hear a lot of people complaining that they aren’t able to do some chores because their bodily processes aren’t working in accordance with their thoughts or will power. Some associated factors may be neurochemical imbalances, genetics, stress, inflammation, neuroanatomy, or hormonal changes.

IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT OR THEY ARE NOT FAKING IT. NO ONE WANTS TO FEEL THAT WAY. PLEASE WAKE UP PEOPLE AND PLEASE SHOW SOME EMPATHY.

Write about a time when you felt overwhelmed by despair or considered an extreme solution. Reflect on how you coped with those feelings.

IDENTIFY WARNING SIGNS

Discovering common behaviors that might indicate someone is struggling, such as withdrawal, changes in sleep patterns, or giving away possessions and Understanding the importance of listening actively to what someone is saying, as certain phrases or expressions might signal their emotional state.

BREAK THE SILENCE AND REACH OUT FOR SUPPORT

Understanding the significance of open conversations about mental health and suicide and learning how to approach someone you're concerned about and how to ask for help if you're struggling.

SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP

Remember, seeking professional guidance is essential for both individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts and those supporting them.
